ETHICAL CONSUMPTION WEEK

Our most recent large activism event was ETHICAL CONSUMPTION WEEK, held November 3 - 10, 2007. Over 50 people accepted the Ethical Consumption challenge, many of whom gathered at our November meeting on the 10th to discuss their experiences. Some found it difficult to break old habits, others less so, but everyone learned how to better allow their values to inform their purchasing decisions. We plan to hold this event each year at about the same time and hope to grow the number of participants each year.
